Processing, Delivery and Returns

Processing of orders
  • We are trying to improve our quality assurance on the units we make which means the processing time for units will be longer. It may take up to 20 working days/4 weeks to process your wig order. Allow an extra 10 working days for international shipments as we require approval that you are satisfied with the item before it is sent. 
  • Units with colour may that an additional 5 working days as colour is done by an external colourist.
  • Working days exclude weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Once purchase is made an email with an order number is sent. 


Ubuhle Handmade will send your parcel through Aramex, The Courier Guy, Fedex or DHL courier services and parcels will be delivered to your door.

Delivery may take 1 - 5 working days to get to you depending on the area you reside in South Africa. Once your parcel has been sent, a confirmation and tracking information will be available via email or WhatsApp and it is then the responsibility of the customer to track it with the courier company specified.

No Post Box or Postnet addresses otherwise delivery might be delayed.

International deliveries may incur customs charges. It is the responsibility of the client to pay those charges. These differ from country to country. 

Return Policy

Should you wish to return the product you can do so for an exchange; provided

- you haven't used it,

- the lace has not been cut and

- it is still in its original packaging.

NO CASH REFUNDS  - There will be an exchange or a voucher will be issued. 

Should you have an issue with the wig after you have worn or cut the lace, we will gladly fix the issue for you, at no extra cost, provided it is within the first 30 day of receipt.

Should there be an issue with the wig; the client should inform Ubuhle Handmade within 30 days of purchase. Any other issues raised thereafter could be regarded as possible wear and tear.

We do not offer exchanges on SAMPLE SALE items. Everything else we are happy to exchange(original price and normal sale items).

Items can be exchanged once, if you are still not satisfied a voucher will be issued for future use.

International Shipping

We currently ship Worldwide. Shipping takes 3-10 working days to arrive depending on area and local customs processing. Import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Check the amounts for imports with your local authorities before making a purchase on our website. 

Complaints And Issues

All complaints and issues can be addressed with us via email  on Complaints and issues raised outside of these channels might result in a delayed resolution.
